Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky Batch #3 - Recipes

Little Smoky

A dark, moody blend of Canadian whisky, Fernet, and aromatic smoke. Stirred smooth, served bold.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky
  • 1/4 oz Fernet-Branca
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 3-4 dashes of bitters
  • Garnish: Smoke

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir
  2. Strain into an old-fashion glass with a large ice cube
  3. Smoke

Northern Gold Sour

A rich, fruit-forward whisky sour with depth and a northern twist.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky Batch #3
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Haskap Berry Syrup (or substitute with blackberry or blueberry syrup)
  • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup (optional, depending on berry syrup sweetness)
  • 1 Egg White 
  • Garnish: Lemon wheel + dash of aromatic bitters

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker (no ice) and dry shake hard for 15 seconds.
  2. Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a few drops of bitters on the foam.
