Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky Batch #3 - Recipes
Little Smoky
A dark, moody blend of Canadian whisky, Fernet, and aromatic smoke. Stirred smooth, served bold.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky
- 1/4 oz Fernet-Branca
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 3-4 dashes of bitters
- Garnish: Smoke
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir
- Strain into an old-fashion glass with a large ice cube
- Smoke
Northern Gold Sour
A rich, fruit-forward whisky sour with depth and a northern twist.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky Batch #3
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz Haskap Berry Syrup (or substitute with blackberry or blueberry syrup)
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup (optional, depending on berry syrup sweetness)
- 1 Egg White
- Garnish: Lemon wheel + dash of aromatic bitters
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker (no ice) and dry shake hard for 15 seconds.
- Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and a few drops of bitters on the foam.
