Broken Oak Alberta Rye Whisky - Recipes
Alberta Gold
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Broken Oak Alberta Rye Whisky
- 0.5 oz Dark Maple Syrup
- 0.25 oz Amaro (like Averna or Montenegro) (optional, for depth)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- Ice (large cube preferred)
- Orange peel (for garnish)
- Grated nutmeg (optional)
Instructions:
- Stir whisky, maple syrup, amaro (if using), and bitters with ice until well chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Express orange peel over the drink and drop it in.
- (Optional) Sprinkle a light dusting of grated nutmeg on top for extra warmth.
