Go behind the scenes with a member of our distilling team and experience the craft firsthand. Learn how our spirits are made, sip through a curated flight of premium whisky, rum, gin, and vodka, and discover what cask-to-glass truly means.
As Latitude 55 Distillery & Lounge, Grande Prairie’s first craft distillery, we salute Alberta and the Canadian North with flavours inspired by our landscape, lifestyle, and community. Using locally sourced grains and botanicals, we create distinctive, award-winning spirits that reflect where we’re from.
Your experience includes access to our barrel room (yes—photos welcome), guided tastings across our core lineup, and—if you’re lucky—a sneak taste of unreleased, upcoming spirits still in development.
Investment: $20 per person, 6 people minimum. There is no limit to group numbers. The experience takes 1-2 hours.
Booking must be made in advance and deposit is required. Must be 18+ to participate.
Micro Mixology Class
We’re shaking things up—literally. Join us for bold flavours, quality spirits, and creative cocktails alongside Casey O’Brien. Known for his elevated private dining experiences, Casey brings a fresh, culinary-driven approach to mixology—where technique meets creativity.
What’s on the menu:

Limoncello-Making Workshop
Zest. Distill. Bottle. Enjoy.
Join us at Latitude 55 for a hands-on evening of lemony goodness! You’ll create your own bottle of house-made limoncello — perfect for sipping, gifting, or saving for something special.
This citrusy experience includes: Participation in the distilling process with one of Latitude 55’s very own Distillers where you will watch your limoncello go from concept to reality and gain insight into the distillation process and the intricate artistry of creating premium spirits. Enjoy the opportunity to taste your limoncello as it comes off the still and after the distillation is complete. Receive one bottle of your very own top-quality limoncello and a tour of our one of kind distillery located in The Old Firehall.
Craft Your Own Gin
The ultimate bucket list experience: Gather a group of co-workers, close friends, or family members and distill your own handcrafted gin at Latitude 55 Distillery! Led by our team of experts, this immersive gin-making experience allows you to craft a truly distinct spirit unique to your tastes and preferences and make memories that will last forever (and a gin that probably won’t)!
